RESEARCH INTERESTS

PET-MR imaging, pharmacokinetic modelling

CURRENT RESEARCH

My current research is to develop novel image reconstruction and analysis algorithms that take advantage of the spatial and temporal correspondence within the data measured by a simultaneous PET-MR scanner, to eliminate the uncertainties in interpreting the data and quantifying the underlying biological/physiological/biochemical processes, and thus to provide reliable outcome measures for disease understanding and drug development. Particularly I am interested in applying computer vision and machine learning techniques to improve the PET reconstruction and analysis.

ABOUT ME

I did my DPhil (PhD) at Oxford University, co-supervised by Dr Julia Schnabel and Prof Roger Gunn from Imanova Ltd. My thesis is entitled "Spatio-temporal Registration of dynamic PET data".
