About Me:


I joined the Translational Imaging Group in June 2017 to work with Dr. Jorge Cardoso under the ART-NET grant. I am responsible for developing state-of-the-art approaches for Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)-only radioterapy treatment planning using deep learning. I am developing a multi-task framework using deep neural networks that is capable of learning how to generate synthetic Computed Tomography (CT) scans and segment organs-at-risk from MRI. My other responsibilities include contributing to the NiftyNet platform and developing a software plaform within the NiftyPipe framework for synthetic CT generation and organ segmentation. I also organise and chair the CMIC deep learning journal club.


I previously worked with Prof. David Hawkes, Dr. John Hurst and Dr. Jamie McClelland on the automated analysis of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) from CT. The goal of my project was to develop methods combining image processing and machine learning to better phenotype COPD from CT.
