I obtained my

I joined the Translational Imaging Group in 2017. I am a member of Dr Christos Bergeles team which is working on the development of 3D lightfield systems applied to image guided surgery.

From 2012 to 2017, I worked as a system integration engineer for Base4 Innovation. I gained in depth expertise in biophotonics, optomechanical and opto-electronics engineering. I developed a fully integrated nanopore molecular diagnostic instrument and conceived a multiplex Raman system for DNA to read hundreds of plasmonic nanoantenna at a rate of 10,000 spectra per second. We applied agile principles for the development of the optical head of a microdroplets sequencer platform. Through a fast paced iterative process, we constantly delivered improvement to our prototype in order to validate our development milestones.

From 2008 to  2012, I was technical lead of 4D Optics Ltd. The company was developing high resolution retinal imaging clinical instruments. I designed and integrated an adaptive optics ophthalmic camera, including optics, mechanics, electronics, control software and real time image processing. I acquired a good understanding of the medical device directive and the ISO 13845 standard.

In 2011, I did a consultancy for OpTIC Glyndwr Ltd, I was responsible for the interferometric measurement of 1 meter class prototype mirror segments for the European Extrelmely Large Telescope.

I received my PhD in 2008, supervised by Dr Luis Diaz-Santana, I assessed coherent imaging technique for in vivo diagnostics of the human retina. I graduated from Polytech Paris Sud in 2002.
