Miscellaneous Information

I joined the Translational Imaging Group at UCL in August 2014 to develop new imaging tools for image-guided fetal surgery. Prior to this, I was a Research Associate at the Electrical Impedance Tomography group also at UCL, where I led the development of this novel method for imaging neural activity and epileptic seizures (2011-2014). For my Ph.D., I did research in Computational Neuroscience at RIKEN Brain Science Institute and the University of Tokyo in Japan (2006-2011). I obtained my undergraduate and M.Eng. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT (2006).

 

Research interests

Physiological signal processing, image reconstruction and analysis, statistical modelling, neuroscience.
