Dr Ridgway completed his PhD at CMIC in 2009 with a thesis on "Statistical analysis for longitudinal MR imaging of dementia", supervised by Professors Sebastien Ourselin, Derek Hill and Nick Fox, and in collaboration (via an EPSRC CASE award associated with the GSK Clinical Imaging Centre) with Dr Brandon Whitcher and Professor Tom Nichols.
He then carried out post-doctoral research in the UCL Institute of Neurology, first at the Dementia Research Centre and then at the Wellcome Trust Centre for NeuroImaging. He is now a Research Fellow at the University of Oxford, based in the Centre for Functional MRI of the Brain (FMRIB), supported by a Medical Research Council fellowship. He is an Honorary Senior Research Associate at the UCL Institute of Neurology and continues to collaborate with colleagues at UCL.
