This week, the kick-off meeting of the AMYPAD project took place in London. AMYPAD, Amyloid imaging to prevent Alzheimer’s Disease, has three main goals:
- improve the diagnostic workup of people suspected to have AD and their management;
- understand the natural history of AD in a presymptomatic stage;
- select people for treatment trials aiming at preventing AD by ensuring more homogeneous and appropriate enrolment.
